Had for 18 months. Fabric is not waterproof at all. Heavy rain this week is heaviest ive used it in, and it just soaked through the panels. After 10 minutes, I was very cold and very wet inside.

Great colour and fit but sadly now waterproof at all.

I returned the first one I had as leaked at seams on chest just for the second one to do exactly the same.

Staff were excellent both times.

Had this jacket for 18months and is used for hiking and backpacking. Its been used in some torrential downpours and has never let me down. Definitely recommend...

Good fit, but not waterproof. Disappointed.

Brilliant lightweight Gore-Tex jacket that fits very well. It is a snug fit, but when you are up a mountain in windy conditions you don't want a loose jacket flapping around.

If like most men you have a bit of a belly, this will be a snug fit, also the arms are for a gorilla they are that long.
You need to try on and probably have to get a size bigger.
However if you are of slim build then this would be a good fit.
Don’t let your dogs near your jacket either.

Fantastic lightweight shell. Nice slim cut, good hood with adjustments. Well positioned two pockets don't get in a harness way.
I am 185cm, 87kg, broad shoulders and size M was perfect for me.
Mind that my preference is quite tight fit therefore you may want to go size up to be able to properly layer up under this jacket.
Additionally the blue color is fantastic, bright , vivid and deep.
Simple Gore shell without unnecessary bells and whistles - just whats needed.

This is an excellently made jacket. The hood, as per all Mountain Equipment jackets fits really well and moves with your head. I have had no problems with breathability. It looks really good, too.

Bought this jacket as it was described as waterproof and gore tex. Well it certainly isn’t waterproof. I am just in from walking in the rain wearing only a Montane base layer underneath and I was soaked

I have used this jacket out walking and camping.

For me this is a brilliant jacket. I read reviews saying paclite goretex wasnt the most breathable or robust, but.. ..

After using this jacket as an everyday rain jacket.. for walking and campong in the lake district.. i can safely say this jacket has performed really well..

I didnt find it bad with breathability at all.. and that was with wearing this jacket whilst walking carrying a rucksack.

This jackets goretex paclite material although feels thin is actually quite a robust material. Its very light weight and packs down into a small pack size.. its brilliant.. keep it in my rucksack in the top cover pocket.
When it rains.. no problem .. get it out .. sorted..

I love the design of this jacket also.. itels really very well designed. Very nice fot with adjusters.. good sized pockets.. i went for the XL as i use a ME lightline down jacket underneath...so allows for space for wearing that also..

This jacket is very high quality.. i am really pleased with its performance..

The best thing about this jacket is the price.. throw that factor in and its a no brainer for me.. i really cant fault this jacket in any way..
