Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.
Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.
Very comfortable and fit well
Tried to return goods - really poor returns service!
I have bought several walking shoe’s over the years and these have served me both for walking and general use. Including Merrell, Berghaus, North Face, the La Sportiva are by far the best 100% quality

Love these shoes, have had them a month now and can’t fault them. I wear these for work everyday as I’m either stood up or walking in my job. The comfort straight out the box is 10 out of 10.
I have worn only this for a year every where I went , the shoes didn't lose anything from what they had the very first day , very comfortable , very good stability and grip , 10 out of 10
Good fit due to lots of eyelets. Rubber rand protects feets and shoes. Sole is grippy and support is great as well as cushioning once worn in. Should last a long time and look great. Worth the money
When you have small, narrow feet it is often hard to find a decent pair of approach / walking shoes but these are definitely worth a look.
Smart, comfortable and very practical they do exactly what it says on the tin. These are my best purchase yet.
I found these very comfortable and very grippy on all terrain. I've heard some negatives regarding the lifespan, however, I haven't owned them for a long period yet so can't comment.
A really comfortable shoe that needed no break in time, comfortable right from the out of box moment.
I can recommend it absolutely
light weight very comfortable great for scrambling and easy climbs. However they don't last long. My first pair lasted 1 day with the sole falling off the left foot. It was a fight to get them replaced. My second pair lasted six days with the leather on the crease splitting.
These shoes look the part and fit my broad feet well. The sole works on a variety of terrain and is great on easy rock routes too. But - they simply fall apart. The leather upper stretches and then folds, and then wears out along the fold/crease line. I'm on my third pair (what a sucker I know). Byt none of them have lasted six months before becoming completely unusable wearing out before the sole unit.
These are great, comfy, grippy shoes but massively let down by a weak lacing system. The eyelets are made of suede....pull the laces too tight and over a very short period of time the suede rips resulting in no eyelets and therefore, no way to lace up the shoe! I returned my first pair after only 4 weeks and now treat my second pair with "kids gloves" as I know how easily they will break! I wouldn't trust them in any remote area or over hard terrain. I wouldn't buy another pair of these.
Great grip on uneven terrain however the laces constantly come undone and the material holding them to the shoe is very weak so if you pull them tight it snaps, bought two pairs of these and both fell apart at the laces. Shame on you la sportiva
Had them for over 2 years now. These may not be the greatest edging/climbing approach shoes compared to 5:10 but what you get is Bullitt proof, sure footed over rock and very comfortable. I wear these for walking, scrambling, crag approach, work and down the pub all rounders. 2 years on and they are still going strong. My only gripe would be the tight fit is a little uncomfortable after a days climbing.
Highly recommended.
I had these shoes for about two weeks before the matterial that holds the lace in place gaveway, which was a real dissapointment. Before this i could not fault these shoes. Comfort from the moment i put them on, great approach shoe and also for low level walking. Without the material giving way on the laces i would have another pair of these without a doubt.
Geat quality approach shoe! Plenty of miles in them, supportive. Good quality sticky sole with a technical range you'd expect. The insoles are made of the sweatiest stuff on earth though.
