Great value easy to assemble
you are asking me to review a product that you lost?? it was never delivered as we have discussed.
If you need a good sturdy trailer look no further. Easy assembly, well built,no missing parts etc etc. Never heard of Maypole brand but when opening packages lots of evidence this was actually an ERDE
easy to assemble making a sturdy and first class trailer cant wait to take all rubbish to local recycling centre with it
Value For Money
Excellent. Bought it to carry all our garden waste to the local dump, and general use. Light to manoeuvre, high enough not to have to bend down too far, yet strong enough to take over 400kgs.
as the above poster has written this trailer is an erde trailer. its really good easy to assemble just follow the instructions and you should have no trouble . chuffed to bits with it and it will last for years and years go get one while they have stock
We took our time buying this one as we wanted to discover what else was available elsewhere.
As my wife is a qualified 'Glamper', taking everything with her barring the kitchen sink, we needed something a little bit larger than our trusty old 4 x 3 ft wooden trailer.
We eyed up the ones at Halfords and a few other places, and decided that this one might possibly fit the bill.
Although this particular trailer was advertised as a Maypole I was struck by the similarity in construction, materials and design with the Erde trailers that I had seen previously, all of which cost more money.
Anyway as usual the Go Outdoors staff were exceptionally helpful, so we took the plunge and bought it.
The trailer comes in flat-pack form, and on first sight of the packages I must admit I found the prospect of assembling it somewhat daunting especially as I am 70 years of age.
There was absolutely nothing to worry about as the trailer came together like a dream in about an hour and a half with just me doing the assembly and my wife passing me the nuts and bolts.
I can assure you that you do not need any previous knowledge or experience at all to be able to assemble this trailer- just 4 spanners, your hands and a willing nut and bolt holder. And what a beauty it is when it is assembled.
The last point that I would make is that this trailer has definitely been made by Erde. I know this for certain now as the weight plate riveted to the side of the trailer carries the manufacturers name 'Erde'.
All along I though that it was remarkably like the Erde 143, and that's exactly what I think it is but without the Erde decals and with a 422kg carrying capacity instead of the 505kg of the Erde. But which campers carry close to 1000 lbs of equipment with them, not many I bet?
So in short the benefits of buying this trailer are, cheaper than a another make of similar size, constructed of the same materials as an Erde trailer in the same factory in Saulon La Chapelle near Dijon, France, and generally a great trailer for the money.
Highly recommended
sturdy, well built and high quality trailer, almost clear instructions,
delivered in two very heavy boxes.
trailer has a few optional extras available.
defiantly needs a Jockey wheel as it is heavy.
