Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
CHEST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under the arms and around your shoulder blades.
WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Ive had one of these for years and have always wanted a newer replacement. Glad to see it back. Rob seemed to stop making them.
Not sure Id trust it to be waterproof, but it is seriously warm.
Serious mountain jacket for active folk in bad weather
This jacket is designed for hard work in winter mountain conditions, not for walking round town. Polartec alpha gets you dry again rather than keeping you dry in rain or snow. Google it for more info
No for the hills
Leaked through the front zip and at both elbows after half hour of walking around my local town in typical welsh weather. Be okay as a mid layer, not waterproof and definitely not for mountains.

Lightweight, warm, wind proof and after a 10 mile walk in torrential rain fully waterproof. This is by far the best jacket I’ve ever owned. I love this jacket and can’t recommend it highly enough. Go buy one you won’t regret it.
Bang on for what it's designed to do- technical gear at high level. wicking keeps you dry, but will weigh a ton when gets wet. Not for fell walking, but have found it useful for v windy coastal paths.
